Quotes & Highlights From The Book

This book reminds me a lot of Change Your Paradigm, Change Your Life by Bob Proctor! The biggest difference is that Craig Groeschel bases the entire book around biblical principles!

And I absolutely LOVE this!

It is ALL centered around Yahweh and His word! As a Christian woman I felt so much at home reading this book because I was not only reminded of God’s faithfulness and His promises but I saw scriptures in a whole new light.

I really appreciated how some of the most powerful quotes in the book were highlighted off to the side of the pages. It was funny because as I was reading I would highlight a part that really spoke to me and after reading the page I would look over and see that same exact sentence highlighted. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This book has soooo many wonderful highlights and things to meditate on! Even the Introduction has so many highlights.

INTRODUCTION

What we think shapes who we are!

Right out of the gate, in the Introduction itself, I highlighted this short and sweet yet powerful statement. As I highlighted it the scripture in Proverbs 23:7 came to mind, “As a man thinketh so is he.”

The life we have is a reflection of what we think.

OUCH! That’s a hard pill to swallow. Especially if your life is nothing like you thought it would be. If you were to be honest with yourself and really stop and think about your life and where you are now, would the reflection be something you’re proud of or not?

Do I like the direction my thoughts are taking me?

If you haven’t already started thinking about what you’re thinking about…what are you waiting for?

Knowing that your life is a reflection of what you’ve been thinking don’t you think it’s about time to learn what thoughts are holding you back? If you are consumed with negative, poor pitiful me, nothing good ever happens to me, life is not fair and blah, blah, blah attitude, then I can already tell you what direction you’re heading in.

But if you’re thoughts are on positive, uplifting, encouraging, motivating things than that is the direction you’re going in.
